WAFP Scholarships

These awards are intended to promote and sustain interest in fields of study which may lead to a career in sanitation, culinary arts, food microbiology, or dairy, food, and meat sciences. Three scholarships are awarded per year and previous applicants and recipients may reapply.

WAFP Scholarship Program

The Wisconsin Association for Food Protection (WAFP) welcomes student applications for the following awards:
• $2,000 Technical College Scholarship
• $3,000.00 College or University Scholarship
• $3,000 E. H. Marth Scholarship

Scholarships Applications are due June 30th.


To Apply:
Students must currently be enrolled at a Wisconsin accredited college or university at time of application.
1. A cover letter describing why the candidate is applying for the award.
2. A resume or curriculum vitae (cv).
3. An official or unofficial transcript of the candidate’s academic record.
4. One letter of support from a faculty member or advisor must be either attached to the online application or e-mailed to scholarship@wifoodprotection.org

WAFP Student Travel Award

A reimbursement of expenses incurred during travel to the annual IAFP Meeting. Applications are due February 9, 2024.

To Apply:

Students must currently be enrolled at a Wisconsin accredited college or university the semester before application is due.

  1. A cover letter describing why the candidate is applying for the award.
  2. A resume or curriculum vitae (cv).
  3. One letter of support from a faculty member or advisor must be either attached to the online application or e-mailed to scholarship@wifoodprotection.org

The Wisconsin Association for Food Protection (WAFP) offers scholarships to qualified applicants annually.
